For the 2nd edition of this avant-garde event that combines a wine tasting experience with an art opening,
Vinochromie invests the new Workshop Bar for one of the most original happy hours in Paris. The French are famous for their cocktail hours, known to the locals as ‘Les Apéros’, and the City of Lights is never at a loss for an original way to say cheers at the end of a long hard day. Tonight, Trends Magazine Paris invites you to join us for
an evening of aspiring art and vivacious viticulture as we head to the latest hotspot in the Sentier to taste test the wine from 4 dierent vignerons and to see the artwork of the 11 dierent artists who have designed their bottles.
Vigneron / Winemaker
Created by Yoann Pierre and Joris Kouevi, the idea behind this original concept came of a desire to associate art and wine. Vinochromie is actually a very clever form of combining taste and talent, for the artists chosen are given a bottle of wine to taste and asked to design the label from the sensorial experience gained from the tasting. The 1st edition of Vinochromie, in November of 2011, encountered such success that the daring duo were obliged to continue the tradition to the delight of many a wine lover. Tonight’s edition will feature the work of the 11 artists that have created labels for the 4 vignerons, presenting a variety of French wines to include a Côte de Duras from the Domaine de Ferrant, a Vouvray from the Domaine des Raisins Dorés, a Champagne from the Maison Legras, and a Chinon from the Domaine Pierre et Bertrand Couly. Tickets are on sale for €6 if you book online, or for €8 at the door.
